Proud of our history, at Sutra Coatings we firmly believe in experience as an added value to our work. We have been dedicated to the metallic treatment and coating of surfaces for more than three decades. In our early stages as Cromados Sutra, our activity focussed on working with chrome coatings. Today we specialise in the zinc nickel coating of metal parts for the automotive, railway or renewable energy sectors, among others.

At Sutra we have a qualified team of professionals and wide experience in metallic treatments and coatings. Our dedication to the finish of the parts we treat means that we take great care over every detail involved in the process.
We have a fully automated zinc nickel rack plating line, our own laboratory to control the process and a quality department where every part we treat at our plant is checked. We work with X-ray equipment to control the thicknesses of the parts treated.
Situated between the provinces of Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia, we have a production plant occupying 1300m2 at the Ibur Erreka Industrial Estate in Eibar. A strategic location with access to the AP-8 motorway giving us a greater capacity for logistics management, meaning that we can always offer the shortest possible transport and delivery times for the parts treated at our facilities.
